This is a very solid and dependable boffer. I stand about 5’8″, so when I ordered this I was expecting it to be big, but it was even more sizable than I expected. It has a good heft to it and a long handle that makes it easier to wield. The balance is a little far down the blade for my preference, but that’s to be expected, and could be fixed by ordering the weighted hilt and/or crossguard. Overall a very nice piece that I think will be put to good use for a long time!

I have had a few weeks to play around with this sword and my claymore (with weighted handle) definitely has some heft to it!!! I love how my group tryes to avoid me when they are using shields!!! I have tested the sword out with my friends (aka they got to wack me with the thing) and yes it dose sting but it will not beak bones might bruise if someone hits too hard (duh)
An excellent sword definitely will get more from forged foam!!!
